Pulling Historical Data into Excel

This spreadsheet allows you to pull historical data into Microsoft Excel® using RTD formulas. The sample spreadsheet pulls open, high, low, close, contract volume, contract open interest and one study, the RSI. The spreadsheet pulls up to 300 bars of data, which is the default setting for RTD. For more data, you need the CQG Historical Data API. Please contact your CQG sales representative for more information. The spreadsheet is unlocked and uses cell references for the RTD parameters.

You can change the symbol, the time frame including using continuation setting, and the lookback period for the RSI.

Requires CQG Integrated Client or CQG QTrader, data enablements for all symbols used in the spreadsheet, and Excel 2010 or higher.
