CQG IC version 2026 can resolve symbols when combined with a Market Identifier Code (MIC) prefix and the Exchange Symbol. For example, using CME (for CME Group) and ZN (the Exchange symbol for the 10-year Treasury Note) i.e., CME(ZN) will resolve to the 10-year Treasury Note traded on the CME.
This feature is available on the Display tab on the Setup/System Preferences.
The image below is using all CQG symbols for the Quote Spreadsheet V2, and the "Show Exchange Symbols" is unchecked.
Go to the Display tab on the Setup/System Preferences/Display tab and check on "Show Exchange Symbols".
The Quote Spreadsheet 2.0 is transformed displaying the MIC prefixes and Exchange symbols.
Some Exchange symbols include the contract expiration date.
