The CME Group Trading Challenge is a complimentary, four-week electronic trading competition for university students. Teams consist of 3-5 members with a student leader or faculty advisor. This year's competition consisted of 385 teams representing 207 schools from 31 countries. The students competed by executing simulated trades on CME Globex via CQG IC with the winning teams determined by final account balance.

"Over the past ten years the Challenge has been a key event in our ongoing commitment to fostering the advancement of trading education at colleges and universities," said Josef Schroeter, President of CQG. "The competition gives the next generation of traders hands-on experience that can't be replicated in a traditional classroom environment."

Top-level teams will be invited to a Day of Market Education on April 11, in Chicago with CQG and CME for the opportunity to experience an open outcry simulation on the CME Group trading floor.
