Beginning with version 2016, CQG Integrated Client and CQG QTrader software cannot be installed on PCs running the Windows XP operating system. Version 2016 is due to be released in 2016.
CQG is making this change in response to Microsoft's retirement of Windows XP on April 8, 2014.
If you are currently using Windows XP, we acknowledge the inconvenience of having to upgrade. Our decision to follow Microsoft's lead was carefully considered and based on two important factors:
Microsoft no longer provides security patches for XP. PCs running this operating system are now vulnerable to a significant security breach.
As XP debuted 13 years ago, XP is no longer appropriate for optimal system performance.
