CQG has added the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) data to the data feed. Published monthly by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates provides comprehensive forecasts of supply and demand statistics for major crops (global and the United States) and livestock (U.S. only).
Users include agricultural commodity traders, researchers interested in global agricultural markets, agricultural producers, processors, retailers and consumers, input suppliers, livestock and dairy feeders, and. The market uses the WASDE report for insight into current conditions to position themselves or make future plans based on the current global supply and demand situation.
Three CQG pages for tracking the latest WASDE Corn, Wheat and Soybeans reports are available as a downloadable CQG PAC. The pages have a quote display set up to display the data in the final column to the right from the WASDE report shown below.
The page includes a line chart linked to the quote page. When the data is released the quote display and chart will update. Following the release you can select a symbol in the quote display and the chart will change to that symbol. Also, included is a quote board linked to the chart and a forward curve chart.
Look for the data under the Exchanges list in the CQG Symbol Finder. You can chart the data using CQG’s “Line” chart type. Contact CQG and request the US Department of Agriculture and USDA-WASDE enablements.
