If you are an analyst, blogger, or simply want to post a screen capture of an IC or QTrader chart on social media then the steps to copying a screen capture to your clipboard are very easy.
At the top left-hand corner of each chart is a CQG icon, which is referred to as a “Control Button” (this feature is available on all CQG windows).
Left-click and a menu opens.
Select “Image of This Window” and you can choose to “Copy to Clipboard” enabling you to paste it in a Word document or some other application. If you choose to send it through an email then it is an attachment. Finally, you can choose “Save As” and select a location.
You are required to include the copyright notification, which is automatically added to the screen capture.
