The London Metal Exchange (LME) is the world center for the trading of industrial metals. The majority of non-ferrous metal futures business is transacted on the LME platforms.
The LME refers to delivery dates as "Prompt Dates." Monthly prompt dates are normally the third Wednesday of the month.
The symbol is the combination of the metals symbol and the Prompt date. For example:
AHDD is aluminium and June 17,2026 is the Prompt date:
AHDD17M26: LME Aluminium: June 2026
At the bottom of the post is a downloadable Excel spreadsheet which uses the XL Toolkit to build a list of symbols which can be copied and pasted from the spreadsheet to CQG One and CQG Desktop. A symbol list for CQG One and CQG Desktop has to be a comma separated list.
Cell L27 above has the CSV Symbol List for each metal.
The CQG XL Toolkit pulls today's market and historical data and orders and positions data via the Internet into Excel. CQG products do not need to be running.
This toolkit does require you to have an account with a CQG FCM partner as this is an FCM enablement.
Your FCM has to enable you for the XL Toolkit.
The toolkit accesses market and orders and positions information using the exchanges you are enabled to trade.
For more information regarding CQG's XL Toolkit and to download the add-in can be found here:

For customers using the Demo account for Desktop or CQG One this link will install an LME page.
Requires an enablement turned on by your FCM and Excel 2013 or higher installed on your computer, not in the Cloud. This product is copyrighted content owned by CQG.
